Public have chance to shape future
East Riding Council is preparing a number of new planning documents – known as Local Development Documents – showing how the East Riding will develop and grow in the next 10 to 15 years.
One of the proposed documents is the Bridlington town centre area action plan, and this will be on display during two public exhibitions in Bridlington Spa from 2pm to 6pm on Monday, November 8, and from 2pm to 7pm the following day.

A sustainability appraisal report has also been prepared, which assesses the plan according to social, economic and environmental factors.
An independent inspector will be appointed to carry out an examination into the soundness of the plan, which will include a public hearing expected to take place next spring.
