Queen seeks castle gardener
The Queen’s estate in Scotland is seeking a head gardener.
The succesful applicant will be expected to “supervise the maintenance” of all garden areas at Balmoral Castle, above, according to the job advertisement. The estate in Aberdeenshire has been the Scottish home of the Royal Family since it was bought by Queen Victoria in 1848. The estate employs around 50 full-time staff.
