Roadworks for the week ahead

Here are the planned roadworks for Yorkshire and the Humber for the week ahead.

They could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

These are the scheduled works from Monday, November 16 to Sunday, November 22.

M1 Junction 30 Chesterfield to Junction 31 Worksop: The northbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight on Wednesday 18 November. The southbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for three nights from Monday, November 16. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am.

M1 Junction 32 Thurcroft to Junction 35a Stocksbridge: The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed in winter 2016. The southbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for three nights from Monday, November 16. The southbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Monday, November 16. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 Junction 39 Denby Dale to Junction 42 (M62 interchange): The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until the project is completed in autumn 2015. The southbound entry slip road at junction 41 and the southbound exit slip road for junction 40 will be closed overnight on Thursday, November 19. The southbound exit and entry slip roads at junction 39 will be closed overnight on Monday 16 November. The northbound side of the carriageway will be fully closed between junction 39 to junction 40 overnight for two nights from Friday, November 20. The southbound entry slip road at junction 42 will be closed overnight on Wednesday 18 November. The northbound side of the motorway between junction 40 and junction 41 will be closed overnight for four nights from Monday 16 November. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M18 Junction 5 to Junction 6 Ings: The northbound side will be reduced to a single lane for bridge works overnight for five nights from Monday 16 November. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am.

M62 Junction 32a to Junction 33 Ferrybridge: The eastbound side of the motorway will be fully closed for carriageway repairs overnight for five nights from Monday, November 16. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 Junction 22 to Junction 23 Outlane: The eastbound side of the carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for resurfacing works for five nights from Monday, November 16. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am.

M62 Junction 32 Castleford: The westbound entry slip road at junction 32 will be closed overnight for technology works on Saturday 21 November. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 Junction 26 Bradford (M606 interchange): There will be narrow lanes and a 30mph speed limit in place until the project is completed in autumn 2016. The slip roads and roundabout at the junction will be reduced to a single lane overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday, November 16 for five nights.

M621 Junction 3 Holbeck: The clockwise exit slip road at junction 3 will be closed overnight on Wednesday 18 November for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 Junction 5 Tunstall: The clockwise entry slip road at junction 5 will be closed overnight for two nights from Friday, November 20 for carriageway repairs. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 Junction 1 Beeston: The anti-clockwise entry slip road at junction 1 will be closed early am for two mornings Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22 for routine works. The closures will take place between 5am and 10am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A61 Westwood Roundabout: The eastbound and westbound side of the A road will be closed between Westwood and McDonald’s for roundabout improvement works from Monday, November 16 for four nights. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A61 Westwood to Tankersley: The eastbound and westbound side of the A road will be closed between Westwood and Tankersley for resurfacing works from Friday, November 20 for two nights. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Bondhill to Copmanthorpe: The westbound side of the carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 16 November for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A628 Flouch to Gun Inn: The east and the westbound side of the carriageway will be fully closed overnight for four nights for resurfacing works from Monday, November 16. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1033 Marfleet to Northern Gateway: The westbound side of the carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights for resurfacing works from Monday, November 16. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A180/A160 Immingham, Humberside: There will be narrow lanes on the A180 and A160 along with a 50mph speed limit while work takes place to improve access to the Port of Immingham, including upgrading the A160 to a dual carriageway. The westbound side of the carriageway will be fully closed from Stallingborough to Brocklesby from Friday 20 November 8pm to Monday 23 November 6am (24/7 closure) also the eastbound side of the carriageway will have a lane two closure from Stallingborough to Brocklesby from Friday 20 November 8pm to Monday 23 November 6am (24/7 closure). The project is due to be completed in autumn 2016. The westbound exit slip road at Brocklesby will be closed until August 2016 and the eastbound entry at Brocklesby will be closed until August 2016.
