Robbers stole man's cash and phone

A man's phone and money were taken during a robbery in Huddersfield.

The victim was grabbed by two other men on Yews Hill Road in the Thornton Lodge area of the town on Tuesday 14 June at around 7.10pm.

They stole his mobile phone and some cash but did not cause the man any physical harm.

The suspects are described as two Asian males in their 40s.

One suspect wore a blue jacket and had short messy hair, and the other was wearing a black quilted jacket and black jeans.

They are believed to have been in a grey Seat Leon.

Detective Constable Oliver Coates, of Kirklees CID, said: “Thankfully no-one was injured during this incident, but I would like to appeal to the public to come forward with any information about these two suspects or if they witnessed the robbery.”
