Rotherham collision leaves boy with life-threatening injuries
A teenage boy has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a car in Rotherham.
The 14-year-old was walking in Oldgate Lane, in the Thrybergh area of the town at around 12.35pm yesterday when he was involved in a collision with a black Ford Focus.
Police are asking witnesses to the incident which happened near to St Peter’s Church to contact them.
The injured boy was taken to hospital.

Hide AdThe Focus is believed to have been travelling towards Dalton from Thrybergh. Its driver was not injured.
Witnesses are asked to call South Yorkshire Police via 101, quoting incident number 475 of January 14.
