Safe driving campaign targets young

A stark warning about the importance of road safety will be delivered at a Scunthorpe college next week.

The For My Girlfriend campaign, which will peak in the run up to Valentine's Day, asks young people – particularly males aged 17 to 19 - to "take responsibility when driving".

Students at the town's John Leggott College will be given front row seats for the show, which will see local emergency services crews re-enact how they would cut out a young couple from the wreckage of a car following a crash.
