Seal pup spotted on Bridlington beach
An adorable seal pup marked New Year's Day on Bridlington beach today.
The mammal was pictured out of the water by onlookers, who said crowds were keeping their distance to avoid alarming the pup.
The stranded seal was later rescued by the British Divers Marine Life Rescue charity and taken to a local sanctuary to be cared for.
