Sheffield man admits terrorism offences

A Sheffield man has pleaded guilty to 15 terrorism offences, relating to the possession and dissemination of terrorist material.

The offences were committed between November 2015 and August 2017.

Kaabar, of Martin Street, Upperthorpe is also due to stand trial at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday (August 6) accused of two offences of entering into a funding arrangement for the purposes of terrorism, which he denies.

He was remanded into custody until then.

Kaabar will be sentenced for the 15 offences he pleaded guilty to today following the conclusion of his trial, which is expected to last between seven and 10 days.
