Sheffield man pulled from burning ground floor flat by firefighters
a man was rescued from a burning ground floor flat in Sheffield this morning.
Firefighters from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the property in Scraith Wood Drive, Sheffield, today at around 8am.
Using breathing apparatus, firefighters entered the building and pulled the man to safety. He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

Hide AdFire crews from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations all attended the incident and extinguished the blaze using hose reels.
The fire service has said that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
