One of the organisers, Sharon Bainbridge, millinery tutor at Leeds College of Art, said it will be a good opportunity to show off their talented alumni.
She said: “I’ve met some inspirational women, many who had gone on to set up their own millinery businesses. This seemed the perfect opportunity to really showcase their myriad of talents and highlight the wonders of the hat.” Spectacular Hats takes place at Castle Howard on May 9 at 7pm.
