Strictly dream ends for Alex and Holly
Alex JONES and Holly Valance saw their dreams of lifting Strictly Come Dancing’s glitterball trophy dashed last night as they were voted off at the celebrity dance show’s semi-final results show.
The demise of the two means that Australian actor Jason Donovan, McFly drummer Harry Judd and Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey are the line-up for the final in Blackpool in next week.
Gracious in defeat, Jones said that apart from occasionally mistaking left and right while dancing, her time on the show had been “brilliant”. She said: “I’ve had an incredible time, and when I’m old and grey I’ll look back at these three months and I’ll think ‘that was a brilliant time’.”
The live final will be broadcast on BBC1 next Saturday and Sunday from Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
