Three men will appear at Leeds Magistrates court on Friday after being charged over a shooting outside a kebab shop in Leeds.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman tonight made this statement:

"Wakkas Butt (25) from Beeston, Shezhan Shabir (25) from Dewsbury and Irshad Badar (23) years of High Wycombe have been detained to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court on Friday November 24 charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

"The men were charged in relation to a firearms discharge which took place outside the King Kebab shop in Beeston in Leeds on October 28.

"Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing by West Yorkshire Police’s Firearms Prevent Team."
