Town hall climber arrested
Police have arrested a man who climbed to the top of City Hall, Bradford.
The man was arrested shortly after 5.30am today following hours of negotiations with police officers.
He was spotted climbing up scaffolding on the outside of the building at about 9pm yesterday. Police officers cordoned off the area and attempted to encourage the man to come down but he refused.
A police spokesman said today he did eventually come down from the building in the early hours and was taken into custody.
