Paramedics from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance airlifted the youngster to hospital - enough to give him the chance to have surgery.

His devoted mum Pam is hoping her son’s memory will live on by saving the lives of others.

They are raising hundreds of pounds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance who helped Harry before he sadly died.

Pam is holding a special charity auction next month on what would have been her treasured son’s 12th birthday.

She said: “It would have been Harry’s birthday.

“It’s a celebration in memory of Harry and I want it to be a party for him.

“The air ambulance means a lot to me. They came on that day and give him a chance of the operation.

“I don’t think I would have coped with losing him there and then on that day.

“They gave him a chance and I am so grateful that they chose to come and take care of Harry.”

Celebrities have donated items to the auction including Harry’s favourite musician Avicii, television stars Ant and Dec, ice skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and Leeds’s very own Keith Lemon.

Pam and her two friends are set to take part in a sky dive at the end of the month to raise money for Harry’s Forever Young Fund.

The charity auction will be at The Village Hotel, in Tingley, on April 3 at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the auction cost £10 each and for more details email [email protected].
