A1 delays Doncaster Barnsley: A1 stopped in both directions in Yorkshire due to campervan fire

Highways England said the traffic has been stopped between Junction 36 at Doncaster and Junction 37 at Barnsley.

It reports long delays of around an hour.

The agency said: “The A1(M) is closed in both directions between Junction 36 (Doncaster) and Junction 37 (Barnsley) due to a campervan fire

“South Yorkshire Police and fire and rescue are in attendance.

"Delays are likely on approach.”
