M1 crash traffic: All traffic held on M1 northbound in Yorkshire due to serious crash
All traffic has been held on the M1 northbound in Yorkshire on Tuesday morning.
The M1 northbound has been closed with queueing traffic due to an accident at J39 A636 Denby Dale Road (Wakefield / Durkar).
The delays stretch back to J38 (Woolley / Huddersfield).
The crash occurred at around 6.15am today, with the road closed a short time later.
Traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads.
Highways Yorkshire is reported delays of 30 minutes at 7.40am.
