Main road closed in York after cyclist suffers serious injuries in collision
A cyclist has suffered serious injuries in a crash on a main road in York.
The collision happened on the A1036 Malton Road shortly before 3pm today and involved the man’s bike and a car.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area, with police saying the road will be closed “for some time”.
The incident took place outside a Toby Carvery, close to the A1237 roundabout.
