Road reopens after A170 crash
A person was taken to hospital this afternoon with serious injuries after being involved in a two-car collision on the A170 in North Yorkshire.
The road was shut after the accident around 3pm this afternoon at Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe, which involved a VW and a Kia.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.
Police said the casualty had suffered what were believed to be serious but not life threatening injuries.
The road has now reopened.
