Roadworks in Yorkshire from May 6-13
M1 junction 32 Thurcroft to junction 35a Stocksbridge
The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions as part of the smart motorway scheme. There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed in winter 2016. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
M1 junction 39 Denby Dale to junction 42 (M62 interchange)

Hide AdThe northbound carriageway will be closed between the slip roads at junction 39 overnight for four nights from Thursday 12 May. The southbound exit slip road at junction 41 will be closed overnight on Thursday 12 May. The southbound carriageway will be closed between junction 39 and junction 40 overnight for three nights from Friday 13 May, please note the closures will come off for this section at 9am Saturday morning, 10am Sunday morning, then 6am Monday morning, this section will also be reduced to a single lane during the day on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May. The southbound entry slip road at junction 42 will be closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 10 May. All closures are for carriageway works such as waterproofing and bridge works. The week day overnight closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
M18 junction 2 Wadworth
The northbound carriageway will be closed between the slip roads overnight for two nights from Wednesday 11 May. The northbound exit slip road at junction 2 will be closed overnight on Friday 13 May. This is for electrical works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
M18 junction 3 to junction 4 Armthorpe
The southbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane from 8am on Saturday 14 May to 6am on Monday 16 May for waterproofing works.
M18 junction 5 to junction 6 Thorne

There will be narrow lanes on the A180 and A160 along with a 50mph speed limit while work takes place to improve access to the Port of Immingham, including upgrading the A160 to a dual carriageway. The project is due to be completed in autumn. The westbound exit slip road and eastbound entry slip road at Brocklesby Interchange will be closed until autumn.
