Trio hurt in three-car collision on Bradford road

Police in Bradford are appealing for witnesses after three people were injured in a road traffic collision in the Thornton area of the city.

Officers were called to Thornton Road, at the junction with City Road, to a collision involving three vehicles at around 2.45pm on Wednesday.

A silver Vauxhall Vectra, a black Vauxhall Vectra and a black Nissan GTR were involved in the incident which left three people injured.

The road was closed for a number of hours while emergency services attended.  

West Yorkshire Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw the three vehicles driving in the area prior to the collision to contact PC 5456 Marie Lawrenson by calling 101 and quoting log number 1022 of May 24.
