Local firm Twisted spent three months building the vehicles for the 2013 trans-European Gumball 3000 rally which features some of the world’s wealthiest and most fanatical supercar owners. The vehicles offer a range of power options – 170bhp and 250bhp diesels and a 430bhp V8 petrol – enhanced sound-proofing and brakes, comfortable suspension and reversing cameras. Leather interiors are a luxury touch and camouflage paint jobs befit the rally’s Gumball Army theme. Skateboard legend Tony Hawk and Twisted’s managing director Charlie Fawcett, pictured, will be driving a Defender each and the others will be used as support vehicles.
