Two in hospital after house fire in Rotherham
Two people were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Rotherham this morning.
They were affected by smoke after a fire started in a shed and spread to two homes, one of which was occupied and the other empty.
The fire in Haythorne Way, Swinton, was discovered at 1.55am.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and an investigation into the cause is now underway.
