Two rescued as crash closes M1 motorway in Yorkshire
An accident on the M1 in Yorkshire closed the motorway as firefighters rescued two people trapped in their vehicles.
Firefighters rescued two people after the crash between a car and a van at 1.30pm and they have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road was closed northbound between J44 (Woodlesford) and J46 (Colton), with diversions in place for motorists.
Highways England advised that it will re-open soon.
