Two rescued from edge of river in East Yorkshire

Two people were rescued from the edge of a river in East Yorkshire.

Firefighters were called to George Street, Hull, at around 6.30am today (Friday).

A man and woman were rescued from mud at the side of the River Hull.

The woman had suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said.
