Two seriously injured in Doncaster crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which involved a red Toyota Corolla and a white Toyota Yaris.

The incident happened on the A19 Doncaster Road, around 300m from the junction with Tiltshills Lane, at 7.15am.

A third vehicle, a red Hyundai i10, is also understood to have sustained minor damage in the collision.

South Yorkshire Police said a 39-year-old man driving the Corolla and a 55-year-old woman driving the Yaris were both taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A spokesperson said: “Did you see the collision? Were you in the area at the time?

“If you have any information about the collision that could assist officers, please call 101 quoting incident number 122 of 21 September 2015.”
