Englishmen get chance of home that is a castle
HOUSE-HUNTERS HAVE the chance to live like royalty after a castle has gone on the market for £3m – and it comes with its own moat and dungeon.
The Grade I listed Caverswall Castle, near Stoke-on-Trent, is for sale after property tycoon Robin MacDonald, 42, bought it for £1.7m eight years ago.
Mr MacDonald, who claimed he is selling the castle to spend more time with his family, has spent £1m on renovations.
