Pussycat Dolls singer to star in revival of Cats
She will take on the role of Grizabella in the Andrew Lloyd Webber production, which will begin a limited run at the London Palladium in December.
The show, which previously ran for 21 years in the West End, is being put together by the original creative team including director Sir Trevor Nunn.
Scherzinger said she “couldn’t be more excited”.

“I grew up listening to Andrew’s extraordinary music and was lucky enough, a couple of years ago, to record Cats’ beautiful song Memory.
“Andrew’s score is breathtaking and I am truly honoured to have been asked to take part in what I know will be a very special time in my career.
“I can’t wait to begin rehearsals.”
Cats began its original record-breaking run in 1981 at the New London Theatre where almost 9,000 performances were staged.
It has gone on to be performed in more than 30 countries and translated into ten other languages.
An Olivier for best musical and seven Tonys are just some of the awards the production has earned.
