Universities’ group appoints new director

A GROUP representing the 12 higher education institutions in Yorkshire has appointed a new executive director.

The Yorkshire Universities organisation has announced that Emily Wolton has taken on the role after previously being its development manager.

She replaces Professor Roger Lewis who retired last month after three-and-a-half years in the post. She said: “I am delighted to be able to lead Yorkshire Universities through its next challenges. I will continue to look for new collaborations and partnerships to maximise the value and impact of higher education in Yorkshire.”
