Update: Missing York schoolgirl, 15, found after four days
Police have thanked the public for their help in the search for a missing York schoolgirl.
Faye Kathleen Simpson, 15, had last been seen leaving her home in Heworth on Saturday at 4.45pm.
An appeal was issued yesterday as efforts to find her continued.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said tonight: “Faye Simpson has been found safe and well in York this evening.
“Thank you for your assistance with our appeal.”
