Update: Road towards Menston reopened after HGV overturned

Police closed part of the Bingley Road towards Menston after an HGV overturned this morning.

West Yorkshire Police’s Road Policing Unit was called out shortly after 8am when the blue Scania wagon became stuck on the verge, blocking part of the road.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle to safety.

The road was partially closed past Dick Hudsons towards Menston but was reopened shortly before noon.
