Motorists travelling on a South Yorkshire stretch of motorway are currently experiencing significant delays due to a broken down vehicle.

The lorry, which is nearly 70m long, carried the generator from Goole Docks to Kirkstall electricity sub station.

The journey has been organised by National Grid with approval from West Yorkshire Police and Leeds City Council.
