Jane Lewis, from Sowerby Bridge, won the massive prize in the Lotto Quadruple Rollover draw on Wednesday, June 17.

Jane, a retired seamstress and mother of five, has played the same two lines on Lotto since it launched, but decided to break her normal routine when she bought a Lucky Dip from the Sowerby Bridge Tesco store.

But despite her massive win, Jane says the money won’t change her and the first thing she bought was a pair of £18 slippers from Marks and Spencer.

“I got the bus into town to buy a new pair of slippers I’d had my eye on for a while and had been saving up for,” she said.

“With the win, I thought I might as well treat myself.”

She also plans to spend her winnings on a home of her own.
