Our county has been hit by some devastating floods over the years. As the region remains on high alert, with a major incident declared in South Yorkshire, The Yorkshire Post takes a look back at some of the worst flooding in recent times.

From the horrendous flooding of June 2007, which saw three people lose their lives in Sheffield and Hull, to the most recent devastation in November 2019, where hundreds of people were left homeless in South Yorkshire after a month's rainfall fell in just 24 hours, The Yorkshire Post takes a look through the archives to see images which will haunt many forever.
