Yorkshire weekend weather forecast: Temperature expected to peak at 28 as summer weather returns
This weekend is set to be sizzling just in time for the end of the lockdown roadmap to ‘Freedom Day’ - so if you have any BBQ plans or trips to coastal attractions, this weekend could be the perfect time.
There will be more sun on Friday than today (Jul 15), with lighter winds, a brief cloudy period and a maximum temperature of 27C, but hay fever sufferers should take care as the pollen levels are very high across the weekend.

Hide AdOn Saturday and Sunday, the skies are clear with a peak temperature of 28C, so don’t forget to put on sun cream as the UV levels are very high all day on Saturday. In the evening it is expected to be a clear night.
The Met Office forecast for the weekend in Yorkshire says: “Early mist and fog patches soon clearing to leave another fine and dry day, with plenty of sunshine [on Friday]. Feeling warmer than on Thursday, with lighter winds.
“Fine and dry with plenty of sunshine on Saturday and Sunday. Feeling very warm, with light winds.”
The sunny weather is expected to continue on to the following week.
