Yorkshire weather: Freezing mornings continue as Yorkshire shocked by MINUS 6 plunge again
The account recorded temperatures of lower than -6°C in Thixendale in the Yorkshire Wolds.

It comes after a cold snap last week which saw snow fall in Leeds.

Covid restrictions eased this week and we're in for some glorious sunshine in Leeds - the perfect weather for sitting outside at a restaurant, pub or bar.
The sunny spells across Leeds over the weekend will see temperatures reach highs of 13C.

Hide AdSaturday will have a sunshine-filled morning up until around 3.00pm when we will start to see some more cloud across the skies of Leeds, according to the Met Office.
The forecast says that Sunday will see some sunshine early in the morning and then again later in the afternoon, with some cloudy patches in between.
The brighter weather across the city follows an unexpected flurry of snow last weekend - with the weather this weekend giving us that spring-like feeling back.

Hide AdRestaurants, bars, pubs and beer gardens in Leeds opened for outdoor service on Monday in line with national coronavirus restrictions, so there are plenty across the city where you can enjoy the sunny weather over the weekend.
Sunset will be at 8.09pm on Friday, 8.11pm on Saturday and 8.13pm on Sunday which gives you that extra few hours of daylight if you're out for a drink or a bite to eat.
