Tim Riggs of The Cross Keys has organised the event, which will involve acts performing in different venues across the town between Friday and Sunday.

Mr Riggs said: “The cause is very close to my heart as I lived in the Manchester area for over 25 years and worked many times at the arena where the incident occurred.

"All of the artists are donating their time free of charge for the worthy cause.

"It’s been organised very last minute but I felt that it would be more beneficial to have an event ASAP.”
