The 20 National Lottery winners helped out at the The Donkey Sanctuary Assisted Therapy Centre in Eccup, which works with young children with special needs.
The millionaires, who between them have won £40m, were divided into teams before clearing the pond and surrounding area, planting flower beds, fencing and attending to the Rainbow Garden Allotment.

Hide AdLeeds winner Steve Poole, who together with wife Gwen won £1,963,927 in 2011, said: “It’s been very rewarding to see the difference it will make to the sanctuary and, as a keen gardener myself, it’s been a privilege to contribute to its ongoing transformation.”
