Research has been carried out to establish the type of turbines which should be used if the South Dale wind farm on agricultural land close to Hunmanby, near Filey, is built.

A test mast which has been used to collect the data will now be taken down by the middle of this month, before officials from Banks Renewables decide on the next course of action.
