Woman '˜critical' after collision outside school

A woman is being treated for potentially life threatening injuries following a collision outside a school in North Lincolnshire.

The incident happened outside the South Axholme Academy, Burnham Road, Epworth between 3.10-3.20pm on Saturday (August 6).

The 52-year-old pedestrian was in collision with a blue Toyota Dyna, which also collided with a white Kia C’eed and a lamp post.

The injured woman was airlifted to Sheffield General Hospital, where she remains in a critical but stable condition this morning.

The driver of the Dyna, a 39-year-old local man, suffered minor injuries, while the 76-year-old man driving the C’eed was uninjured.
