Woman punched repeatedly during Hull bar assault

A woman needed hospital treatment after she was repeatedly punched in the face by three others in a Hull bar.

The victim was in Propaganda bar in Ferensway when three women in their early twenties went up to her. Each of the women punched her in the face a number of times.

Police today appealed for witnesses to the assault, which happened on Thursday between 3.20am and 3.50am.

The attackers were all described as white and in their early twenties.

The tallest of the three was 5ft 7in and skinny, with light blonde hair worn in a bun. She was wearing a grey vest top.

A second woman was slightly shorter at 5ft 6in, of large build, and had very dark hair in a high bun. She was wearing a short sleeved black top with a khaki sleeveless top over the top, trousers and sandals.

The final suspect was described as 5ft 5in, with long straight black hair, and wore a black outfit.

The victim sustained bruising and swelling to her face and sought treatment at Hull Royal Infirmary but was not detained.
