Yorkshire Afghanistan soldier’s memorial vandalised
Sergeant Lee Davidson, 32, was killed by a roadside bomb in Helmand Province in 2012, leaving behind his pregnant wife and two sons in Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police said a tree dedicated to Sgt Davidson at Thorne Memorial Park was damaged overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Hide Ad“As you would expect we are doing everything we can to identify those responsible and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning speak to officers.”
