Youngest DJ in TV debut

The youngest DJ in the country is to appear on Blue Peter this month.

Yorkshire schoolgirl Daisy Watkiss, of Cross Hills, near Keighley, is due to appear on the popular children’s television show on May 10.

The programme’s researchers discovered the nine-year-old when she wrote to apply for one of the show’s coveted badges.
