Bradford road to close for water works later this month
A road in Bradford is set to close for several days later this month while water works are carried out.
City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has announced a temporary road closure on Dawson Lane in Tong, Bradford, to allow water works to take place safely.
Under the temporary traffic order, vehicles will be prohibited from travelling along Dawson Lane between its junction with Tong Street and the side of No.136 Tong Street.

The closure is scheduled to come into force at 8am on May 26 and remain in place until 5pm on May 30, although the order can legally stay in force for up to 18 months if required.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
A signed diversion route for motorists will operate via the unaffected section of Dawson Lane, Ferrand Avenue, Shetcliffe Lane and Tong Street.
The restriction will not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
