The packs of two are sold exclusively at Iceland and may be unsafe to eat.

Which product is affected?

The affected product is the 280g two pack of Greggs frozen steak bakes.

The recall applies to packs of this product with a best before date of 20 December 2020, 22 December 2020 and 22 December 2020.

Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Iceland stores that are selling the product, warning customers that the possible presence of plastic makes it unsafe to eat.

No other products, date codes or batches are affected. The recall does not apply to any of the freshly baked savoury products sold in any Greggs shops, or any other Greggs items that are sold at Iceland.

What should I do if I bought one?

If you have purchased the affected product from Iceland, Greggs has advised that you do not eat it.

Instead, customers should return the item to the Iceland store where it was purchased for a full refund.

Greggs has apologised for the inconvenience caused and has advised customers who have any queries to contact its Customer Care service on 0800 473 447, or email [email protected]
