If you’ve grown bored of earning a living from behind an office desk and are craving a new adventure, your next career move could take you to the Swiss Alps.
Altitude Ski School in Switzerland is on the hunt for a lucky candidate to join its team as a Ski Slope Tester, with eight different ski schools across the country to choose from.
Testing the slopes
The ski and snowboard school is looking for a candidate with a passion for skiing and beautiful scenery, as well as a love of Swiss cheese and chocolate.
The role involves escaping to a variety of scenic slopes in Switzerland to test out the quality of the snow, with the chance to explore beginner routes and the more challenging expert level slopes.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the ski school reviewing one of eight different ski slopes around the country. You can choose from either a day pass to review a slope, or opt for a two hour ski lesson with Altitude Ski School.
The choice of slopes include:
Verbier is famed for its vast skiing areas, with 410km of pistes spread out across four beautiful valleys, offering a huge variety of slopes for all skill levels.
Zermatt sits in the shadow of the infamous Matterhorn and, being car-free, it provides a truly peaceful spot to escape the hustle and bustle, with skiing available 365 days of the year thanks to its glaciated terrain.
The villages of Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren form part of the Jungfrau Ski Region, offering access to more than 200m of slopes, while Wengen provides a good mixture of terrain for a range of skill levels, including the famous Lauberhorn downhill slope - the longest on the World Cup circuit.

If you are interested in the role, you can enter for a chance to win the opportunity via the Altitude Ski School website.
