You must now wear a face mask when visiting Costco - with no exceptions
All shoppers visiting Costco will be required to wear a face mask or face shield. Anyone who chooses not to, or is unable to wear a face covering for medical reasons will not be permitted to enter the shop.
The new guidelines are in place at all UK Costco locations and affect all members, guests and employees visiting. The only exception is children under the age of two.

Hide AdCostco has had a face mask policy in effect since 4 May, 2020, but members who could not wear a mask due to a medical condition were exempt. However, now if a member has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must wear a face shield at Costco.
In a statement, vice president and country manager at Costco, Louie Silveira, said, "Whilst this updated policy may seem inconvenient for some, we believe that the added safety is worth any inconvenience.
"Our goal is to continue to provide a safe shopping environment for our members and guests, and to provide a safe work environment for our employees.
"Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
