They show shops and shopping centres around Yorkshire from the 1950s to the 1990s, including several fallen high street giants.
Woolworths, C&A, British Home Stores and Our Price are just some of the once-massive names that you might remember pictured in this retro photo gallery.
As well as the big chains, these nostalgic images show some of the region’s best-loved independent stores, from butchers and grocers to a famous toy store known as the Yorkshire Disneyland.
Among the evocative photos are some recognisable faces, from the owners of much-loved family businesses to a sitcom star opening a new shop, and a record-breaking footballer-turned-manager launching his own store.
How many of the old stores pictured, and the people running them, do you remember? And which lost shop do you miss most?
For more Yorkshire nostalgia, why not check out this retro photo gallery, taking you back to 1976.
