Harrogate Ladies’ College
Harrogate Ladies’ College – in The Sunday Times Top Ten schools for academic performance in the North- is holding an open morning on Friday 27th September for 2025 admissions. Registration is open now.

Prestigious Harrogate Ladies’ College, which was one of the first all-girls’ schools to open in the country over 130 years ago, is holding an open morning for new parents and pupils.

Event registration is open now for tours of its family of schools, which offer a full range of pre-school, prep and college education for two to 18-year-olds.

Whilst proud of its heritage, Harrogate Ladies’ College has now firmly set its sights on educating the women of tomorrow.

Principal Sylvia Brett is on a personal mission to encourage more girls to opt for Science subjects in their GCSEs, A-levels and university courses and a good range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) choices are available.

As a leading independent girls’ senior school, the ethos follows the benefits of a girls-only senior school education because research suggests that girls and boys learn differently, and so the school adapts its teaching methods to suit their needs.
