Collard's double makes it lucky 13

Yorkshire One: Malton and Norton further strengthened their position at the top when they scored their 13th straight win by a relatively modest 30-20 margin at Bridlington.

Scrum-half Tom Collard scored two tries and winger Henry Newett and prop Adam Turnbull added one each to help secure the bonus point win. Stand-off Teei Piawi kicked two conversions and two penalties to complete Malton's scoring.

Centre Ben Johnson, stand-off Regan Stirk and winger WIll Davis scored tries for the home side, and Steve Melonby kicked a conversion and penalty, but it was not enough.

Bridlington, previously in ninth place, have dropped behind Castleford, the previous week's losers at Malton, who themselves beat Bridlington before the freeze and resumed their winning ways when they scraped a 10-8 home win over higher-placed neighbours Knottingley.

Sheffield kept on the pace in second position with a 31-7 victory over Scarborough at Abbeydale Park.

Fly-half Ben Parker put Sheffield ahead with two early penalties, and the first try came when Andy Kelly, their captain and No 8, crossed in the 16th minute.

Parker missed the conversion, but his drop goal in first-half stoppage time gave the home side a 14-0 interval lead.

Scrum-half Matt Poste and prop Tommy Marples added tries, neither of which Parker was able to convert in the windy conditions.

Scarborough's moment of glory came when half-back Phil Stewart crossed for a try which he converted but this was cancelled out when Kelly scored again for Sheffield in the dying moments, Parker converting.

Keighley consolidated third place with a four-try bonus point from their 22-0 victory at struggling Dinnington.

Keighley edged in front with unconverted tries by captain and No 8 Lee Sugden and hooker Will Armitage. They resisted pressure after the turnround and increased their lead with a try by centre Adam Horsfall with five minutes remaining and then, almost on the final whistle, Armitage's second try which Alex Brown converted.

Heath scraped a 14-13 home win over Ilkley. Wing-forward Oliver Wilby and stand-off Giles Hetherington scored their tries.

Strong defence helped Bradford Salem scrape a 7-5 win over Selby, with No 8 Kris Salwasser scoring their only try after 20 minutes.

Yorkshire Two: Leaders Huddersfield YMCA will have to replay their match at Yarnbury after the game was abandoned in the 12th minute because of an injury to the referee, with the visitors leading by a penalty.

Pocklington, in second position, saw off a challenge from third-placed Skipton when they won 20-3 on their rivals' ground.

Moortown, who gained a bonus point in their 22-6 win at West Park Leeds, moved into fourth place ahead of Hullensians, who crashed to a 37-0 defeat at Doncaster Phoenix.

Outside centre Tim Elliot scored two of Doncaster's six tries, with his brother Tom Elliot on the wing, flanker Dan Morris, centre Craig Deakin and stand-off Dan Storey also touching down. Storey converted two and added a penalty.

Barnsley beat Leodiensian 28-6, with a four-try win at Shaw Lane.

Second-row Jordan Wood and No 8 David Reed scored first-half tries, and Patrick Jensen kicked two penalties to put his side 16-6 ahead at half-time, with Nick Wainwright kicking two penalties for the visitors.

After the break, flanker Joe South and player-coach Ed Norris both scored, and Jensen converted one to seal the win.

West Leeds ran out 23-6 winners over Old Rishworthians with flanker Dan Bird, centre Billy Leal and full-back Dale Breakwell scoring the tries, and Danny Monk kicking two penalties and a conversion.

Yorkshire Three: Leaders Wath on Dearne scored the four tries of the match in a 29-12 win at fourth-placed Rotherham Phoenix.

Tom Jenkinson, the Rotherham fly-half, had kicked his side ahead with the first two of his four penalties before Wath replied with two tries from prop Dean Hardcastle, one converted by Ben Keen.

Centre Steve Mason scored twice for Wath in the second half, with Keen converting both and adding a penalty.

Bramley Phoenix moved ahead of both Aireborough and Rotherham Phoenix thanks to a losing bonus point despite being edged out 22-20 at lowly-placed Northallerton.

Aireborough slipped up 25-11 at Thornensians, who gained a four-try bonus point.

Full-back Gareth Edwards scored two tries for Thorne, and centre Zak Holgate and winger Brett Hunt also touched down.
