YORKSHIRE were bowled out for 532 on the stroke of tea on the second day of their County Championship match against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.

The visitors’ first innings came to an end in the 172nd over when David Wainwright was caught at deep mid-wicket off Imran Tahir.

The leg-spinner finished with 6-132 from 49.2 overs, while left-arm spinner Danny Briggs sent down 51 overs for 2-127.

Resuming on 411-4 after lunch, Yorkshire lost their fifth wicket on 431 when Anthony McGrath clipped Sean Ervine to mid-wicket.

McGrath made 115 from 296 balls with 11 fours.

Gerard Brophy scored 53 before he was caught-and-bowled by Tahir with the total on 478.

Yorkshire fell to 501-7 when Adil Rashid was caught at slip off Tahir for 38.

Rich Pyrah was stumped for six as he came down the track to Briggs, while Ajmal Shahzad was superbly caught at long-off by Chris Wood off Tahir for 18.
